Read and change data on websites

Typing Shield needs to detect editable fields, place its private overlay near them, and paste your final text back into the page when you press Enter or Paste.

Storage

Storage keeps local settings, pause state, disabled sites, daily free-use counters, and protected-keystroke counters in your browser.

Active tab

Active tab lets the popup identify the current site when you choose to disable or re-enable Typing Shield there.

Keyboard shortcut

Ctrl+Shift+Y opens Typing Shield on the focused field for Plus and Pro users. You can turn off auto-open and use this as hotkey-only mode.
